Impact model: DBH

The model embeds a biosphere model into a distributed hydrological scheme, representing both topography and vegetation in a mesoscale hydrological simulation, and the model includes an irrigation scheme.

Exceptions: Human water uses were not considered in current runs.
Spin-up
Was a spin-up performed?: Yes
Spin-up design: The first 20 years were repeated to spin-up the model. The constant CO2 concentration of 286 ppm was used for the pre-industrial run and 336 ppm was used for the historical and RCP2.6 runs.

Soil
Soil layers: Three soil layers, 9 model parameters. The total depths of soil layer are 1.5 to 3.5 meter for different vegetation type, wherein the top layer is 20 mm, and the root layer is 1.0 to 1.5 meter.
